How to save up money on clothes

You surely know I am a big devotee of clothes and actually, most of my money is spent on clothes. My mantra is: 'I like my money where I can see it; hanging in my closet!' and frankly, I don't think that will ever change. However, it is always possible to save a couple of dollars, even with clothes in question. Here are a few of my tips that I often use when going shopping!

Sales

Ah, sales...the most beautiful word for the shopaholics. Even though this may seem like an obvious thing, many still don't understand that the sale price of a product is his actual price. That is why it's important to keep an eye on season sales or other smaller ones that depend from store to store. Subscribe the newsletter of the shop you often visit or download the app that informs you about upcoming sales in the vicinity of your home!

Gift Cards

How many times has someone asked what you wanted for your birthday but you didn't know what to say and ended up owning a stinky perfume of a t-shirt you wouldn't use to swipe the floor? For a few years now my friends and family have been gifting me gift cards for my birthday or Christmas and that way all of us are pleased. That way they didn't have to spend hours searching for a perfect gift and I got a free choice of choosing any piece of clothing I wanted!

Outlet Stores

Until recently I didn't like visiting outlet stores because I used to think the prices were almost the same there as in regular stores. To be honest, some outlets really are like that, but many offer extreme discounts. This year I visited an Adidas Outlet and payed only 30$ for sneakers that usually cost 200$! That is a great save of money, especially if you consider that some pieces can be worn over and over again!
